Students between the ages of 18 and 25 develop skills they need to move to employment, vocational education and training or higher education. Individuals participating in the program will develop their own personal career plans and strategies to achieve their goals. An emphasis is placed on skill development in a supportive environment and work experiences are developed to meet students’ individual goals and interests. Topics of instruction include: workplace reading, math, active listening, situational judgment, self-advocacy, resume preparation, interviewing skills and job-search training.
